How do I set up a User ID and a Password?

Once you have made your course selections from the "Course Catalog" page, select "Checkout."  You will then be prompted to create a new User ID and password, and provide information for your personal profile.  If the desired User ID is taken, you will be asked to select something else for your account.  If you need assistance, please call 877-332-8480.

If I forgot my User ID and password, how can I retrieve them?

What personal information does FuneralCE store about me?

For the purposes of creating certificates of completion and reporting your CE credits, FuneralCE must have your full name, address, daytime phone number, and license number. Some states also require the use of your Social Security Number for reporting credits.

A credit card will be required to process your order online; however, FuneralCE DOES NOT store credit card information and the card information is entered on a secure and encrypted page. For information about FuneralCE’s Privacy Policy, click on "Terms/Conditions."

Yes. FuneralCE has taken many precautions to ensure that our systems are secure and that they meet industry standards, including the application of firewalls for our Internet-based systems. How do I view the course catalog?

You can access the course catalog by selecting the "Course Catalog" menu option on the left hand side. Then select your state on the map of the United States.  A box will immediately appear for you to select your license type.  Once you have selected your license type, you will be directed to your state's "Course Catalog," where you can begin selecting courses.

FuneralCE has several courses available, how do I know which ones to choose?

To help you choose courses, go to the "Course Catalog," and click on the "Compliance Requirements" link located under the “Choose a Course” box. The "Compliance Requirements" page includes information on your state regulations, such as subject requirements, course repetition, carryover, and more.  Courses approved for special state-specific requirements are specifically noted in red next to each course title (i.e. Ethics, Law, OSHA, Pre-Need, etc.)

How many credits are awarded for each course?

The number of credit hours per course will vary by state. Credit hours will be listed next to each course title on your state’s "Course Catalog" page.

Can I repeat a course?

Each state has differing rules regarding course repetition. Information on your state’s ruling can be found on the "Compliance Requirements" page located within your state’s course catalog.

Where do I find the state-assigned course numbers?

The course numbers will be available on FuneralCE’s certificates of completion. Most certificates of completion can instantly be printed online once you successfully complete the course exam.

How do I find the price for FuneralCE courses?

You will find pricing information on your state’s multi-course bundle under the “Choose a Course” box within the "Course Catalog." Individual course prices, before discounts and bundle package pricing, will be noted in green next to the course title.

How do I get the get the bundle price?

Pick and choose the courses you would like to take, and add them to your shopping cart. Once all courses are in the shopping cart screen, the discount will automatically be applied.

What is the difference between “price before discount” and “bundled pricing”?

The “price before discount” is the individual course price to be paid if you select ONLY that single course for your order. “Bundled pricing” gives you a discounted price if you order multiple courses at one time. When you order multiple courses at the same time the bundled price discount is automatically applied at checkout. All courses must be ordered at one time and for only one funeral professional.

How do I receive a receipt?

For online purchases, you may print a complete itemized invoice of your CE purchase from the website. To print an online receipt:
  • Sign in with your User ID and Password
  • Select the ‘My Orders’ link on the menu bar, and then select the “View Receipt” link for the order you wish to print the receipt.

Do my courses expire?

Access to courses will expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Your expiration date will be listed in your online account. FuneralCE will give one complimentary 30-day course extension when requested within 30 days of the course expiration date.

Yes.  Your completed courses will be listed under the “My Courses” section located on the left menu bar.

How do I access the online course material?

Online courses can be accessed by logging into your account from the ‘"Sign In" link on the home page with the User ID and password you established or were given by one of FuneralCE’s call center representatives.  After signing in, simply click on the course title you wish to begin located under “Available Courses” on your "My Courses" page.

Courses and exam materials are available immediately after payment. To access the exam for a specific course, click on the course title under “Available Courses." Select “Begin Course” and your exam will be available to you once you have completed all previous sections in the course.

What happens if I do not pass my exam?

If you do not pass an exam, the system will automatically give you the opportunity to retest online. All retakes will contain a different set of test questions from the original exam.  FuneralCE offers unlimited retakes at no additional charge.

If my internet connection is lost, will FuneralCE save my answers?

Yes. The online system will save the answers for any test pages completed prior to the loss of connection.

How long does it take to get certificates of completion?

In most states, certificates of completion are available to print online immediately after passing the exam. If your state does not allow online printable certificates, FuneralCE will mail the certificates of completion to the permanent address on file.

Online certificates of completion are available in most states, and can be printed immediately upon completion of the course, or anytime thereafter. If your state does not allow online certificates, FuneralCE will mail the certificates of completion to the permanent address on file.

What do I do if I have lost my original certificates?

FuneralCE maintains your records for a minimum of 5 years.  We can send you a duplicate copy of your certificate of completion at no additional charge.  To get a duplicate copy of your certificate of completion, call our toll-free customer support at 877-322-8480.

Will FuneralCE report my courses to the state?

FuneralCE reports course completions in most states every week.

Please note that there are some states that do not require the providers to report CE course completions.  For more information on your state’s reporting requirements, please go to the “Course Catalog” and view the “Compliance Requirements”.  Reporting information can also be found on your state’s certificate of completion.

Can I get CE credit for my insurance license in non-resident states?

WebCE will furnish you with certificates of completion for each of the courses ordered for your resident license.  Depending on the state's non-resident CE requirements, additional certificates can be provided for a fee if they are needed for a non-resident state. Most states will accept your resident CE completion for a non-resident license. To get more information regarding your specific CE requirements for a non-resident license, it is best to contact the non-resident departments of insurance directly.
